How Nigel Stevenson Finds a Range of Benefits in Ripcord® Xtra Insecticide

While working in property maintenance, Nigel Stevenson noticed that there was a big demand for pest control and he saw an opportunity. So he founded Fumetech Pest Control in Auckland in 2007.

Stevenson has dedicated over 15 years to providing excellent pest control across Auckland for homes and businesses, like real estate agencies, kindergartens, restaurants and corporate offices. When looking for an effective pest control product, Stevenson explains that he needs solutions that are beneficial in a number of ways. Ideally, they will be low irritant, with no repercussions for humans or animals and have a long residual effect.

Ripcord Xtra insecticide, the new and improved, high performance formulation of a well-trusted New Zealand product, meets all these criteria. “It doesn't seem to cause any trouble for small pets or cause any allergy problems,” emphasises Stevenson. “And you can go into the property soon after the treatment.”

Ripcord Xtra provides greater control and treatment flexibility for a large variety of difficult pests. In particular, Stevenson finds Ripcord Xtra particularly effective at controlling flies and spiders. And not only is Ripcord Ripcord Xtra a top performer in the market at the moment, Stevenson explains but it’s cost effective because of its low dose formulation – making it an excellent choice for his business.

Of course, for Stevenson’s customers, efficacy and speed is key when calling out pest control – and most importantly, Ripcord Xtra delivers fast and effective results. In fact, Ripcord Xtra delivers the signs of sensitisation within 5 minutes, and elimination
within 30 minutes.

“It has a quick knockdown period, and it seems to have a lasting residual for up to six to eight months,” says Stevenson. “It’s really good.”
